Mallory Blalock (Owner) (she/they)
Mallory is a seasoned Tattoo Artist with 20 years experience. As a queer woman herself, she is very passionate about providing a safe and inclusive space for clients and the other artists working in the studio. Mallory’s preferred styles of tattooing include geometric/dot work, fine line, Neo traditional, and semi-realistic black and grey illustrative work. As for subject matter, she enjoys anything dealing with nature, floral pieces, botanical illustrations, insects, skulls/dead things, geometric patterns, and anything witchy. Ioana Anghelescu (she/her)
Ioana has had a passion for drawing her whole life. She studied for four years at UNCG, majoring in printmaking and drawing, with a minor in cultural anthropology. She graduated in 2022 with a BFA (bachelor of fine arts) degree. Before she began her career in tattooing, she also taught an after school art program at Greensboro Academy for a short time.
Ioana has now been tattooing for just over a year. Her preferred styles include American traditional, Neo traditional, Japanese, and illustrative work. As for subject matter, she enjoys anime, anything pertaining to nature, kitschy/vintage designs, and cute animals with weapons. Erin Smith (she/her)
Erin is an NC native and got her start tattooing in Asheville in 2013. She had a studio in the River Arts District in Asheville up until Hurricane Helene. She’s now back in her hometown of Winston-Salem, rebuilding her clientele with the rest of our Artists at Talon.
When she’s not in the studio you can find Erin in her garden, digging through old piles of books at the used bookstore, learning about plant medicine, getting festive at a renaissance faire, wandering in nature with her love and spending time with my sweet familiar, Binx.

Debi Holley (she/her)
Debi started her tattoo career in 2006.
Well-versed in multiple styles and types of tattoos, including cover ups, portraits, and watercolor, Debi is an extremely experienced and versatile Artist.
Deb is a seasoned cosmetic tattoo artist as well.

Tyler Greenfield (he/him)
Tyler started his tattoo career in 2008.
Heavily influenced by skate culture, graffiti, and calligraphy his style is meant to be bold, graphic, and easily recognizable from across the room. He prides himself on providing a unique experience tailored specifically to the individual client. He cares strongly about the importance of a comfortable environment by keeping good vibes, a positive attitude and a clean, inviting atmosphere.

Mariana Mora (she/they)
Mariana started her Tattoo Apprenticeship under Mallory in early 2025.
Prior to tattooing, Mariana attended and graduated with a BFA in 2022 from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). She has also done freelance work for multiple indie game studios between graduating and beginning her tattoo career.
Though still technically an apprentice, Mariana has made great strides in the short amount of time she’s been learning this new craft. With an already developed illustrative or mesoamerican inspired style stemming from her own Mexican-American heritage, she is already gaining much deserved attention for her work as a newer Artist in this industry. As her mentor, Mallory is extremely proud of her success thus far and can’t wait to continue to watch Mariana grow and become the GOAT she knows she’s capable of.
